In the final Adventure of DBT Holistic Skills Workbook for Teens, students are to step into self-leadership. Mission 1 was to strengthen their pattern, which is essentially strengthening the habits they’ve just been practicing in the weeks and months prior, by reflecting upon each previous Mission. 

Mission 2, however, was to plan their intentions, which uses the Calendar on Page 205, today’s Handout. 

A sample calendar can be found on page 204. It’s a place where students can easily write in the current month and number the days.

And then the fun begins. This calendar is a place where the student can list his or her health-related actions and plans. Tuesday the 12th was when the reminder to prep healthy snacks for Wednesday through Friday was placed for that week. Thursday the 20th at 8pm is when the reminder to fill in Getting What I Want (Handout Page 151) because talking to mom & dad about getting a car is important enough to plan for! And cold showers are being planned (just starting with 10 seconds!) for the following week, Monday through Friday the 24th-28th!
